Literature Text

It would have been a Sunday.
Children’s Church, maybe.

I remember coming up to the altar,
Dressed in usher clothes

-no-

After that.

I was in middle school.

Saturday night at Daytona Beach.

We sang that song
We sang that song
Over and over
Well into the night.

Crying in the candlelight.

He let me see,
Just for a moment.

I saw Him.
In my Device Theater class, we had to write a number of different forms of poetry. This was the seventh and most up-to-date poem. This task was bey far the most interesting: write for three minutes about something you don't remember. You should try it!
